This hardener is the reactive curing component used with epoxy resins to transform liquid material into a rigid, durable plastic. When combined at the correct ratio, it initiates a chemical reaction that controls pot life, cure time, and final mechanical properties.
Mix the hardener with the matching epoxy resin at the specified ratio by weight or volume. Stir thoroughly, scraping sides and bottom, until uniform. Pour immediately and avoid exceeding pot life.
