Description

This 600 g/m² multi-axial fiberglass mat is designed for creating strong, lightweight, and dimensionally stable composite laminates. It features multiple layers of unidirectional fibers oriented at 0°, +45°, –45°, and sometimes 90°, stitched together to form a balanced, crimp-free structure.

Instructions

Cut the 600 g/m² fabric to the required size before preparing the resin system. Place the fabric onto a clean mold or prepared surface, ensuring the fiber orientation matches the desired structural strength and load direction.

Mix polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resin according to the manufacturer’s recommended ratio.
Apply the resin evenly using a brush, roller, or infusion process until the fabric is completely saturated.
Use a laminating roller to remove trapped air and improve consolidation between layers.
Additional reinforcement fabrics or core materials can be added to achieve the required stiffness and thickness.
Allow the laminate to cure fully before demolding, trimming, sanding, or finishing.

Always wear gloves, eye protection, and a respirator when handling fiberglass and resins.
