AR Quadaxial Fabric is a multiaxial glass reinforcement for Jesmonite, featuring continuous glass strands stitched with fireproof Nomex®. It is lightweight, strong, fire-resistant, and easy to cut, making it ideal for complex shapes in mold making and panel construction. Not suitable for solvent-based resins.

Description

The AR Quadaxial Fabric is a specialized glass reinforcement designed for Jesmonite applications. Utilizing advanced multiaxial glass reinforcement technology, it enhances the strength, lightness, and fire resistance of Jesmonite fibreglass laminates. The fabric is constructed with continuous glass strands aligned in four directions and stitched together using Nomex®, a fireproof material. This design minimizes free filaments, ensuring safety and comfort during use.

The fabric can be precisely cut with scissors or roller cutters, allowing it to conform to complex shapes. This makes it particularly suitable for mold making and panel construction. It is important to note that fibreglass matting (CSM) intended for solvent-based resins like polyester is not compatible with Jesmonite materials.

Instructions

Cut fabric to required size using sharp scissors or a roller cutter.
Ensure mold or surface is clean and properly prepared.
Apply a base coat of Jesmonite, then lay the fabric into the wet material, pressing gently to remove air pockets and ensure full saturation.
Apply additional Jesmonite over the fabric, working it through the fibers for complete encapsulation.
Use a roller to consolidate layers if needed.
Allow to cure fully before demolding or further finishing.
Do not use with polyester or solvent-based resins.
