Description

This filled fast-cast polyurethane resin is used for manufacturing tools in foundries, such as core boxes, foundry patterns, and model plates. It is ideal for parts requiring good abrasion resistance and dimensional stability.

Characteristics and Advantages

  • Fast cast polyurethane resin
  • Quick setting
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Low shrinkage
  • Odorless
  • Low viscosity

Filled fast-cast resins are suitable for creating master models, core models, negatives, and patterns with large dimensions, characterized by low shrinkage.

Instructions

This filled fast-cast polyurethane resin is designed for manufacturing foundry tooling such as core boxes, foundry patterns, model plates, masters, and large tooling parts that require good abrasion resistance and dimensional stability.

Usage Instructions

  • Store and use at room temperature, ideally between 20–25 °C.
  • Ensure both components are at the same temperature before use.
  • Accurately measure according to the recommended mixing ratio.
  • Mix thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom of the container for a uniform blend.
  • Pour immediately after mixing due to fast setting time.
  • Allow the casting to cure undisturbed until it reaches sufficient strength for demolding.
  • Final mechanical properties develop after full cure.

Safety Precautions

  • Use in a well-ventilated workspace.
  • Wear safety glasses, chemical-resistant gloves, and protective clothing.
  • Avoid inhaling vapors and keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
  • Prevent moisture contamination.
  • Do not eat or drink while handling the product.
  • Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for detailed handling, storage, and disposal instructions.
