Instructions for Use – Brass Powder with Resin

Measure the required amount of resin according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Add brass powder to the mixed resin. A common ratio is 1 part powder to 1–3 parts resin by weight, depending on the desired metallic intensity.

Stir slowly and thoroughly until the powder is evenly dispersed and the mixture appears uniform.

Pour the mixture into the mold and allow it to cure. Heat absorption by the metal powder may prolong the resin’s recommended curing time. Apply extra heat if necessary.

Once fully cured, demold the casting. For a realistic metal finish, sand lightly and polish the surface to expose the brass particles and enhance the metallic shine.

Optionally, the surface may be patinated with patina agents, such as those used on real metal, but don't apply excessive heat.

Optional: Apply a clear coat or wax to protect and deepen the finish.

Tip: For a stronger surface-metal effect, dust brass powder directly into the mold before pouring the resin mixture.
