Description
This anti-fungal silicone rubber resists fungal growth and is suitable for skin-safe cushioning devices in orthopedic applications.
Parts A and B are mixed 1:1 by weight or volume, with a working time of 45 minutes and curing in about 4 hours at room temperature with negligible shrinkage.

Instructions
Safety
Use in a well-ventilated area. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves. Use vinyl gloves only, as latex gloves will inhibit curing.
Storage
Store and use at room temperature (23°C). Warmer temperatures reduce working and curing time and can shorten shelf life.
Mixing
Use containers with straight sides and flat bottoms. Stir Parts A and B thoroughly before dispensing. Mix for 3 minutes, scraping sides and bottom. Vacuum degassing is recommended to remove air. Ensure the vacuum pump pulls a minimum of 29 inches of mercury (1 Bar / 100 KPa).
Pouring
Pour mixture in a single spot at the lowest point of the containment field to minimize air entrapment.
Curing / Post Curing
Cure at room temperature (23°C) before demolding. Do not cure below 18°C.
Optional post-curing: expose to 80°C for 2 hours and 100°C for 1 hour.
Cure Inhibition
Inhibition may occur with certain materials. Test a small area first. Apply a clear acrylic lacquer to prevent inhibition. Allow sealer to dry before applying rubber.
Because no two applications are quite the same, a small test application to determine suitability for your project is recommended if performance of this material is in question.
Note: Even with a sealer, platinum silicones will not work with modeling clays containing heavy amounts of sulfur. Do a small scale test for compatibility before using on your project.
Applying A Release Agent
A release agent can ease demolding. Use Ease Release™ 200. Brush lightly over surfaces, mist coat, and let dry for 30 minutes. Test on a small area if unsure of effectiveness.
