EPSILON™ + 101 Hardener

Description

This thixotropic epoxy coating system is designed for brush-on application over EPS foam and various substrates. It forms a hard, impact-resistant shell without damaging the foam, making it suitable for lightweight forms.

Features

• Compatible with 101 Fast or 101 Slow hardener for desired working time
• Mixes at a ratio of 100 parts A to 20 parts B by weight
• Thick, non-sag epoxy suitable for vertical and overhead surfaces
• Working time of about 15 minutes with 101 Fast hardener
• Cures to handling strength in approximately 16 hours
• Achieves a Shore D hardness of around 75
• Once cured, provides a tough, moisture-resistant surface
• Can be sanded, drilled, carved, painted, or laminated
• Adheres to EPS foam, urethane foam, plaster, wood, concrete, fabric, and fiberglass
• Solvent-free and contains no VOCs
• Cures at room temperature
• Used as a base coat before fiberglassing or as a standalone hard shell

Instructions

• This is a brush-on epoxy coating for EPS foam and other surfaces. 
• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease before application. 
• Mix 100 parts Part A with 20 parts Part B by weight, blending thoroughly until uniform. 
• Apply with a disposable brush in thin, even coats. The thixotropic formula allows use on vertical and overhead surfaces without sagging.
• Working time is approximately 15 minutes with 101 Fast hardener (longer with 101 Slow). 
• Additional coats or reinforcement fabric may be applied once the previous layer becomes tack-free. 
• It reaches handling strength in about 16 hours and cures to a hard, moisture-resistant shell that can be sanded, drilled, carved, painted, or laminated.
• Use gloves, eye protection, and adequate ventilation during use.
