Description

This high-density, flexible polyurethane expanding foam is designed for applications requiring durability and strength while maintaining flexibility. With a density of approximately 400 kg/m³ (25 lb/ft³), it withstands repeated impact, compression, and mechanical stress.

Features

  • Mixes at a 1A:1B ratio by volume (approximately 100A:100B by weight)
  • Short working time of about 45–60 seconds
  • Expands to approximately 2x its original liquid volume
  • Handling time of around 60 minutes for safe demolding
  • Full cure is typically achieved in about 4 hours
  • Cured foam is white, flexible, and tough
  • Can be cut, drilled, sanded, or painted
  • Pigments can be added for color matching

Due to its high density and excellent tear, abrasion, and compression resistance, it is widely used for heavy-duty props, stunt and impact padding, industrial cushioning, structural foam fills, ergonomic supports, and specialty effects applications.

Instructions

  • Mix at a 1A:1B ratio by volume (≈100A:100B by weight) until uniform. 
  • Pour immediately, as working time is approximately 45–60 seconds. 
  • The foam expands to about twice its original volume, so allow space in the mold. 
  • Do not disturb during the rise.
  • Demold after approximately 60 minutes. 
  • Full cure is achieved in about 4 hours. 
  • Use clean, dry molds and a release agent if needed. 
  • After curing, the foam can be trimmed, sanded, drilled, or painted. 
  • Wear gloves, avoid moisture, and ensure good ventilation during use.
