Description
This high-density, flexible polyurethane expanding foam is designed for applications requiring durability and strength while maintaining flexibility. With a density of approximately 400 kg/m³ (25 lb/ft³), it withstands repeated impact, compression, and mechanical stress.
Features
- Mixes at a 1A:1B ratio by volume (approximately 100A:100B by weight)
- Short working time of about 45–60 seconds
- Expands to approximately 2x its original liquid volume
- Handling time of around 60 minutes for safe demolding
- Full cure is typically achieved in about 4 hours
- Cured foam is white, flexible, and tough
- Can be cut, drilled, sanded, or painted
- Pigments can be added for color matching
Due to its high density and excellent tear, abrasion, and compression resistance, it is widely used for heavy-duty props, stunt and impact padding, industrial cushioning, structural foam fills, ergonomic supports, and specialty effects applications.
