Description

This high-density rigid polyurethane expanding foam is designed for applications requiring strength, durability, and dimensional stability. With a density of approximately 240 kg/m³ (15 lb/ft³), it offers superior compressive strength and impact resistance compared to lower-density foams, while being lighter and easier to work with than solid materials like wood or metal.

The foam can be cut, drilled, tapped, sanded, carved, or machined using standard tools, and it bonds well with common adhesives. It accepts paints, coatings, fiberglass, epoxy laminates, and urethane skins for enhanced surface durability and appearance.

Instructions

Mix at a 1A:1B ratio by volume until uniform. Pour within 2–3 minutes of mixing. The foam expands to approximately four its original volume, so allow space in the mold. Do not disturb during the rise.

Demold after 30–45 minutes. Full cure is achieved in 2–3 hours. Use clean, dry molds and apply a release agent if needed. After curing, the foam can be cut, drilled, tapped, or sanded.
