Description

This high-density rigid polyurethane expanding foam is designed for applications requiring strength, durability, and dimensional stability in a lightweight material. With a density of approximately 416 kg/m³ (26 lb/ft³), it offers excellent compressive strength, impact resistance, and long-term structural performance. It is often used as a lightweight alternative to wood, plaster, or solid plastics in demanding environments.

  • Can be cut, drilled, tapped, sanded, carved, or machined with standard tools
  • Accepts paints, coatings, fiberglass, epoxy laminates, and urethane skins

Due to its high density and strength-to-weight ratio, it is widely used for tooling and fixtures, structural cores, prototype parts, scenic and architectural elements, marine components, reinforcement of hollow structures, and load-bearing foam fills where lower-density rigid foams are insufficient.

Instructions

  • Mix at a 1A:1B ratio by volume until uniform. 
  • Pour within 2–3 minutes of mixing. 
  • The foam expands approximately 2×, so allow space in the mold. 
  • Do not disturb during the rise. 
  • Demold after approximately 30 minutes. 
  • Full cure is achieved in about 2–3 hours. 
  • Use clean, dry molds and a release agent if needed. 
  • The material can be cut, drilled, or sanded after curing. 
  • Wear gloves, avoid moisture, and ensure good ventilation during use.
