FormX Friendly Form thermoplastic pellets are a versatile sculpting material engineered for fast and durable SFX and prop-making applications. The pellets soften when heated and can be molded instantly by hand or with tools, allowing artists to form structural elements, costume pieces, mechanical props, support appliances, and custom builds on the fly. Once cooled, the material becomes extremely strong and impact-resistant, yet it can be reheated and reshaped again and again without waste — perfect for experimentation and rapid prototyping. From film sets and cosplay workshops to theatre stages and model shops, these pellets deliver reliability, flexibility, and creative freedom for every maker.
Heat water to approximately 60–70 °C (140–160 °F) and pour the desired amount of FormX Friendly Form thermoplastic pellets into the hot water. Allow the pellets to soften and turn transparent, indicating they are ready to use. Carefully remove the softened material using a tool or heat-resistant gloves and knead it briefly to form a workable mass. Mold or sculpt the thermoplastic by hand or with tools to create the desired shape, structure, or prop component. Hold the form in place until the material cools and becomes opaque and rigid. To modify or reshape, simply reheat the material again. Finished pieces can be sanded, drilled, or painted once fully cooled.
