Processing Recommendations
- Safety First: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid use if allergic to natural latex. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Remove from skin with waterless hand cleaner followed by soap and water. Children should use only under adult supervision.
- General Preparation: Do not freeze. Store and use at room temperature (23°C). It has a limited shelf life and should be used promptly. Cold temperatures slow curing, while warm temperatures reduce working time. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk.
- Preparing the Model: Avoid using on individuals with latex allergies. Conduct a small test on the inside of the arm to check for sensitivity. If a rash appears, wash thoroughly with mild soap and warm water and discontinue use. Ensure the area to be coated is free of body hair to prevent bonding. If latex gets into hair, remove in the shower with soap. Apply a moisturizing lotion before use for easier removal. Do not apply over eyes, ears, nose, or mouth. Use externally only and avoid applying on inflamed or damaged skin.
- Applying, Curing & Removal: Apply with a sponge, fingers, or brush. Thin with 1% distilled water for airbrush use. Apply several coats for best results, curing each layer at body temperature or with a hair dryer. The latex shrinks about 3%, creating a 'second skin' feel. Once desired thickness is achieved, powder lightly to prevent sticking or apply makeup to blend with skin. To remove, rinse with warm water and soap, gently peeling the latex off the skin. Use a warm cloth to soothe the skin during removal.
