Description

This removable liquid latex masking fluid is non-staining and can be colored. It is compatible with all water-based mediums and suitable for surfaces such as paper, cardboard, ceramics, glass, leather, metal, and wood. However, it is not recommended for use on fabrics.

Before applying, ensure the substrate is dry. Allow the masking fluid to dry completely before removing it to avoid damage.

Instructions

SAFETY FIRST

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Avoid use if you have known allergies to natural latex.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
  • Remove from skin with waterless hand cleaner followed by soap and water.
  • Children should not use this product without adult supervision.
PROCESSING RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Do not allow the product to freeze as it will become unusable.
  • Store and use at room temperature (23°C).
  • This product has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible.
  • Colder temperatures slow working/cure time; warmer temperatures reduce it.
  • Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk.
  • Wash thoroughly after handling.
  • Keep the container closed when not in use.
POURING, USING & PERFORMANCEMIXING AND USING
  • Stir thoroughly before each use.
  • Apply 3 to 4 thin coats to any surface needing protection.
  • Dries to form a contour-hugging, skin-tight protective coating on both porous and non-porous surfaces.
  • Protects from damage during painting and prevents costly cleanup.
  • Prevents bleeding, peels away cleanly, and protects sensitive surfaces against staining and abrasion.
CLEAN UP
  • Clean up wet and dry latex with soap and water.
OPTIONAL - COLORING THE RUBBER
  • Fabtone™ latex colorants can be used to dye the latex while in its liquid state.
