KX Flex™ 40

Description

This urethane mold rubber is designed for creating flexible and durable molds suitable for repeated casting. 

With a Shore A40 hardness, KX Flex™ 40 balances elasticity and strength, facilitating easy demolding while retaining shape and surface detail. 

This makes it suitable for both simple and moderately complex mold geometries.

Features

• 1A:1B mix ratio by volume for accurate measurement and consistent results
• Approximately 25 minutes of working time for thorough mixing and careful pouring
• Cures in about 16 hours at room temperature, achieving full mechanical properties

Instructions

Mix at a 1A:1B ratio by volume until uniform. Pour onto clean, prepared surfaces or molds.

Steps

• Working time is approximately 25 minutes.
• Degas if needed, then pour slowly to reduce bubbles.
• Do not disturb during cure.
• Allow approximately 16 hours to fully cure at room temperature.
• Use mold release if required.
• Once cured, the mold is ready for casting.
