Description

This additive is designed to control the curing speed of  of Matrix Dryve™ and Matrix™ NEO polymer modified gypsum systems.

Matrix™ Cure Accellerator is most effective when prepared as a pre-mixed solution with 80g of powder and 480g of water, ensuring uniform integration into the mix.

This is essential for workflows requiring rapid demolding, such as high-volume production or vertical applications to prevent sagging.

While it counters the slowing effects of thickeners, caution is advised. 

Excessive mixing or using more than 7% by weight can thin the material or cause a 'flash set,' reducing the working time to less than 4 minutes.

Instructions

Technical Guide: How to Use

  1. Create the Solution: Use in a 1:6 ratio with water, e.g. dissolve 100g of powder into 600g of room temperature water. Shake or stir until fully clear.
  2. Initial Mix: Mix the powder with water, using drill-mixing for 1 minute until the lumpy texture disappears.
  3. Add Accelerator: Pour the measured solution into the moving mix.
  4. For 10 min pot life: Use 1% of the total powder weight.
  5. For 8 min pot life: Use 1.5% of the total powder weight.
  6. Final Spin: Drill-mix for an additional 30 seconds only. Warning: Every extra second of high-speed mixing further accelerates the chemical reaction.
