Instructions

Preparation

  • Use products promptly due to limited shelf life. Store and use at room temperature (23°C) with low humidity.
  • Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Ensure good ventilation.
Sealing Porous Materials
  • Seal porous models (gypsum, concrete, wood, stone) before applying a release agent. Use fast-drying sealers or high-quality shellac for sulfur or moisture-containing clays.
Non-Porous Surfaces
  • Metal, glass, hard plastics, and sulfur-free clays require only a release agent.
Applying a Release Agent
  • Use a mold-making release agent. Apply liberally and brush lightly with a soft brush. Follow with a light mist and let dry for 30 minutes.
Measuring & Mixing
  • Liquid urethanes absorb moisture. Use clean metal or plastic tools. Pre-mix Part B before use. Mix Parts A and B thoroughly for at least 3 minutes, scraping sides and bottom.
  • For large quantities (11 kg+), use a mechanical mixer for 3 minutes, then hand mix for 1 minute. Pour into a new container and repeat mixing.
  • Vacuum degassing or pressure casting can reduce air bubbles.
Pouring
  • Pour in a single spot at the lowest point, allowing rubber to flow over the model. Ensure at least 1.3 cm of rubber over the highest point.
Curing
  • Allow to cure for at least 16 hours at 23°C. Do not cure below 18°C. Use mild heat or a cure accelerator to reduce cure time.
Post Curing
  • Heat cured rubber to 65°C for 4-8 hours to enhance properties.
Using the Mold
  • Apply a release agent before each casting. Use appropriate agents for wax, liquid rubber, or thermosetting materials.
  • For gypsum, sponge mold with soap solution for better flow and release. Use a water-based release concentrate for abrasive materials like concrete.
Performance & Storage
  • Fully cured rubber is durable. Contact the manufacturer for application-specific inquiries.
