Description

This cure retarder is an additive designed to extend the pot life of platinum silicone rubber systems and Soma Foama™ silicone foams. It slows the curing reaction, providing greater flexibility during mixing and application.

Blends easily into Part A before adding Part B

Suitable for professional mold making, special effects fabrication, prototyping, and industrial applications, delivering consistent and controllable results.

Instructions

Add the retarder to silicone Part A and mix thoroughly until uniform.
Adjust the amount to extend working time as needed.
Then add Part B and mix completely.
Pour or apply as usual.
Do not overuse, as cure time will increase.
Allow to cure fully per silicone instructions.
Wear gloves and ensure proper ventilation during use.
