Description

This urethane resin is part of the ColorMatch™ Series, designed for precise color pigmentation and filler effects. It is color-neutral, allowing small amounts of pigment to produce vivid colors with So-Strong™, UVO™, or Ignite™ pigments.

Key Features:

  • 1A:1B mix ratio by volume
  • Very low viscosity
  • Demold times range from 10 minutes to 2-4 hours, depending on product, mass, and mold configuration

Note: Large castings with high mass may become very hot and shrink more, depending on the mold configuration. The resin readily accepts fillers such as URE-FIL™ 3, making it suitable for marble and wood-grain effects or for simulating metal by adding bronze or brass powder.

The resin has a pot life of 9 minutes, a cure time of 60 minutes, and a Shore hardness of 72D. A new EU REACH-compliant version is available.

Instructions

  • Mix at a 1A:1B volume ratio until uniform. 
  • Add pigments or fillers as desired and mix thoroughly. 
  • Pour within approximately 9 minutes of working time. 
  • Use clean, dry molds and avoid moisture. 
  • Do not disturb during the cure. 
  • Demold in approximately 60 minutes (longer for larger casts). 
  • Avoid large mass pours to reduce heat buildup. 
  • Once cured (Shore D 72), parts can be sanded or painted. 
  • Wear gloves and ensure proper ventilation.
