Smoothie Spray

Description

FuseFX Smoothie Concentrate is a non-inhibiting, water-based spray lubricant specially formulated for smoothing the surface of uncured silicone. Unlike alcohol or solvents, Smoothie repels silicone without breaking it down, allowing artists to refine and sculpt wet silicone with complete control. It is ideal for repairing seams, blending edges, shaping the final coat of a silicone mould, or smoothing the silicone “skin” on foam forms and prosthetic builds.

When sprayed over wet, thickened silicone, Smoothie creates a lubricated surface that lets tools glide effortlessly, helping to achieve clean, seamless transitions and highly refined surface details. Tools may also be sprayed or dipped into the solution for extra slip and precision. Once cured, the silicone surface remains fully intact and ready for further work.

Smoothie must be washed off with warm water between layers to ensure proper bonding and adhesion when additional silicone is applied. Because the formula is non-inhibiting, it is safe for use with platinum silicones and will not interfere with the curing process.

Supplied as a concentrate, Smoothie must be diluted with hot water before use, allowing artists to prepare the strength and volume needed.
