UreCoat™

Description

This two-component urethane coating is designed for flexibility and impact resistance. It can be mixed and brushed onto various surfaces, including expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, fabric, some metals and plastics, wood, and rope. The mix ratio is 100A:10B by weight, requiring a gram scale for accuracy. Adhesive - UreCoat™ will bond to many surfaces and can be used as a flexible coating for expanded polystyrene (EPS foam), fabric, some metals and plastics, wood, rope and more.

Features

• Mixing and Curing: Pot life is 8 minutes, re-coat time is 30 minutes, tack-free time is 2 hours, and full cure is achieved in 16 hours at 23°C.
• Adhesive Properties: Bonds effectively to many surfaces, making it suitable for flexible coatings.
• Durability: Cured rubber is tough, UV resistant, and can repair damaged latex animatronic skins or masks.
• Color Customization: Color-neutral and can be tinted with SO-Strong™, UVO™, or Ignite™ colorants to create a permanent paint for coating cured urethane rubbers or flexible foams.
• Environmental Safety: Contains no phthalates or VOCs, ensuring a safer application environment.

Instructions

• Mix at 100A:10B by weight using a gram scale until uniform. 
• Apply quickly—working time is approximately 8 minutes. 
• Brush onto clean, dry surfaces in thin coats. 
• Recoat after approximately 30 minutes if needed. 
• Allow approximately 2 hours to become tack-free and 16 hours for full cure. 
• Do not disturb during curing. 
• Tint during mixing if desired. 
• Wear gloves and ensure proper ventilation.
