Description
This lightweight, fire-rated epoxy putty is designed for sculpting, props, themed environments, models, and display elements. It features low odor and minimal shrinkage, making it safe for indoor and aquarium use. The putty is solvent-free and can be easily mixed by hand into a dough-like consistency, allowing for sculpting, carving, or pressing into molds. It cures to a rigid, machinable surface with a Shore D hardness of approximately 85.

Instructions
Safety
- Use in a well-ventilated area.
- Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator if using regularly.
- Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and nitrile or vinyl gloves.
Rate Of Coverage
At 6.3 mm thickness, 454 g covers approximately 462 cm².
Preparation
- Store and use at 23°C.
- Mix in a well-ventilated area.
- Use Folding Powder on the work surface and gloves to prevent sticking.
- Conduct a test application if needed.
Applying A Release Agent
Use Ease Release™ 200 or 205 for non-porous surfaces.
Measuring
- Dispense equal amounts of Part A and Part B.
Mixing
- Mix by hand with gloves coated in Folding Powder.
- Knead parts A+B, adding powder for desired consistency.
- Apply to surfaces; elevated temperatures reduce pot life and cure time.
Stamp, Sculpt or Mold
- Stamp with rubber stamps using alcohol for detail.
- Sculpt with hands or tools.
- Press into silicone molds for detail reproduction.
Smoothing Surface
- Use water or isopropyl alcohol.
- Cover with plastic wrap for a high gloss finish.
Curing and Heat Resistance
- Cures in 16 hours at room temperature.
- Heat accelerates cure time.
- Resists temperatures up to 74°C.
Post Curing
- For higher heat resistance, cure at 80°C for two hours, then 100°C for three hours.
Machining
- Wear a dust mask when machining cured epoxy.
Painting
- Prime and paint with acrylic enamel for outdoor use.
Removing Uncured Material
- Remove excess material and clean with soap and water.
