Description

Super Sculpey® Medium Blend is crafted for artists who require both the flexibility of Super Sculpey® and the firmness of Super Sculpey® Firm. This clay is ideal for creating detailed sculptures that require both malleability and structural integrity. It remains soft until baked, providing ample time for artists to perfect their creations. The gray color of the clay helps in highlighting intricate details, making it easier for sculptors and photographers to capture the nuances of their work. Once baked, the clay becomes shatterproof and chip-resistant, ensuring durability. It can be easily sanded, drilled, carved, and painted with water-based acrylic paints, offering versatility in finishing touches. Super Sculpey® Medium Blend is a reliable choice for both beginners and experienced artists looking to create detailed, lasting sculptures.

Instructions

Bake at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness. Do not microwave. Do not exceed the recommended temperature or baking time. Ensure your work area is covered with a protective surface such as the Sculpey® Work 'n Bake Clay Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. After baking, the clay can be sanded, drilled, carved, and painted with water-based acrylic paints. Store extra clay in a cool, dry place to maintain its softness for future use.
