Description
Jesmonite AC630 is a high-performance, acrylic polymer–modified, cement-based composite specifically engineered for producing durable, lightweight, and high-detail castings or laminates. It combines the strength and durability of traditional cement with the versatility and ease of use of modern polymer technology. AC630 offers excellent dimensional stability as it is a shrinkage-compensated system, minimizing cracking or distortion during curing. Its low permeability ensures exceptional resistance to weathering, moisture, and frost, making it suitable for both interior and exterior architectural applications. The material exhibits a fine surface finish that captures intricate details, making it ideal for replicating stone, metal, or other textures. It can be pigmented or painted to achieve a wide variety of finishes and effects. AC630 is non-toxic, water-based, and has a low VOC content, providing a safer, more environmentally friendly alternative to resin-based composites. It is widely used for sculptures, panels, moldings, restoration projects, and other creative or structural works where durability and aesthetic quality are essential.
Instructions
Instructions:
Measure AC630 Base and Liquid accurately according to the manufacturer’s recommended ratio. Add the liquid to the base and mix thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Pour or apply into prepared molds or onto surfaces immediately after mixing. Gently vibrate or tap molds to release trapped air. Allow the casting to cure at room temperature; initial set occurs quickly, but full strength develops over time. Demold carefully once sufficient strength is reached, and allow the piece to dry completely before sealing, finishing, or outdoor use.
Safety:
Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid inhaling dust from the dry base. Wear gloves, eye protection, and a dust mask when mixing. Avoid prolonged skin contact. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse with plenty of clean water. Do not ingest. Keep materials out of reach of children. Dispose of waste according to local regulations.
