Description

This adhesive is designed for bonding RTV silicone rubbers to themselves and other materials like certain plastics, plasters, ceramics, and fabrics. It is compatible with both tin and platinum-cure silicones, providing a durable and flexible bond with high elongation properties.

Features

  • Can be colored using Silc-Pig™ silicone pigments.
  • Resistant to weathering, moisture, UV exposure, and high temperatures.
  • Ideal for repairing torn silicone rubber molds.
  • Suitable for bonding silicone in prosthetics and animatronics.
  • Cured adhesive is certified as skin-safe, but should not be applied to skin in its liquid form.

Instructions

  • Apply directly to clean, dry surfaces. 
  • Spread a thin, even layer on both parts, then press them together firmly. 
  • Allow adhesive to cure undisturbed, with an initial set time of approximately 10–15 minutes and a full cure in about 24 hours. 
  • Do not use on the skin in liquid form. 
  • Can be tinted if desired. 
  • Ensure good ventilation and wear gloves during use.
