Description

This medium-density, flexible polyurethane expanding foam is designed for a balanced mix of lightweight structure, flexibility, and durability. 

With a density of approximately 80 kg/m³ (5 lb/ft³), it provides enhanced tear strength and compression resistance while remaining easy to shape and comfortable under compression. 

FlexFoam-iT!™ V is suitable for a wide range of professional and creative applications.

Commonly used for props, costume, and cosplay padding, lightweight structural elements, set pieces, cushioning components, and special effects applications where a balance of softness, durability, and weight savings is important.

Instructions

  • Mix at a 1A:1B ratio by volume until uniform. 
  • Pour within approximately 45–60 seconds working time. 
  • The foam expands to about 11 times its original volume, so allow space in the mold. 
  • Do not disturb during the rise. 
  • Demold after approximately 30 minutes. 
  • Full cure is achieved in about 2–3 hours.

Usage Tips

  • Use clean, dry molds and a release agent if needed.
  • Foam can be cut, carved, or sanded after curing.
  • Wear gloves, avoid moisture, and ensure good ventilation during use.
