Description

This high-quality, crystal-clear liquid epoxy is designed for coating, encapsulating, and artistic applications. It can be poured or brushed over many types of surfaces to create a strong, durable, high-gloss finish. Parts A and B mix easily, flowing smoothly for even coverage without bubbles. Once cured at room temperature, it provides excellent impact resistance, superior clarity, and a glass-like surface that enhances the appearance of embedded materials or coated objects.

Tarbender™ epoxy can be applied over wood, plaster, concrete, foam, fabrics, paper, etc. can be used to encapsulate 2-D or 3-D objects. Tarbender™ is certified “aquarium safe” and is used by aquariums to create hyper realistic coral and other aquarium displays.  It is also used by zoos around the world as a coating for themed elements and displays.

Instructions

  • Mix at 2A:1B by volume (or 100A:41B by weight) until uniform. 
  • Apply by pouring or brushing onto clean, dry surfaces. 
  • Working time is approximately 60 minutes. 
  • Pour slowly to minimize bubbles. 
  • Do not disturb during cure. 
  • Allow to cure overnight at room temperature. 
  • Once cured, the surface is hard (Shore D ~75) and glossy. 
  • Wear gloves and ensure proper ventilation.
