Description

Super Sculpey® Gray is favored by artists, doll makers, and animation studios for its unique properties. This polymer clay offers a ceramic-like texture, making it suitable for intricate sculpting. The neutral gray color provides excellent visibility of details, ensuring precision in your work.

Unlike air-dry clays, Super Sculpey® remains soft until baked, allowing you to work at your own pace without the worry of it drying out prematurely. After baking, the clay becomes durable and can be further refined through sanding, drilling, carving, or painting with water-based acrylics.

Super Sculpey® is ready to use straight from the package and retains its shape during sculpting. It is ideal for creating detailed sculptures, dolls, and other artistic projects. The clay can be stored for future use, maintaining its workability over time when kept in a cool, dry place.

Instructions

Bake Super Sculpey® at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness. Do not microwave or exceed the recommended temperature and baking time.

Ensure your work area is protected by using a Sculpey® Work 'n Bake Clay Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected surfaces.

After baking, the clay can be sanded, drilled, carved, and painted with water-based acrylic paints. Store unused clay in a cool, dry place to maintain its softness for future projects.
