Description

This concentrated, water-based emulsion is designed for releasing synthetic and natural rubbers, microcellular and solid polyurethane elastomers, epoxies, and thermoplastic resins from various substrates. It features a unique film-forming technology that provides corrosion protection for metal molds.

A thin application ensures excellent release performance, reduces mold maintenance, and offers enhanced rust protection for steel molds. This product serves as an economical alternative to organic solvent release agents.

Features

  • Water-based carrier
  • Excellent release properties
  • Superior film formation
  • No buildup on molds
  • Low toxicity and odor
  • No VOCs, reducing health risks
  • Cost-effective compared to other release agents
  • Convenient mix ratio: 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate

Technical Properties

  • Specific gravity: 1.05
  • Viscosity: 500 mPa·s
  • Color: Clear

Use Cases

  • Ideal for mold release applications
  • Applicable in both industrial and commercial settings

Instructions

  • Mix the concentrate with clean water at a ratio of 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate. Ensure thorough mixing for an even solution.
  • Apply a thin, uniform coat to the mold surface using a spray gun, brush, or clean cloth. Ensure the mold is clean and free of dust, oils, or previous residue before application.
  • Allow the applied film to dry completely before casting. Once dry, the coating forms a clear release layer that assists in separating rubber, polyurethane, epoxy, or thermoplastic materials from the mold surface.
  • After demolding, reapply a light coat as needed for consistent performance.
  • Regular cleaning of molds is recommended to maintain optimal release results and extend mold life.
