Instructions

SAFETY FIRST

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Avoid use if you have known allergies to natural latex.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
  • Remove from skin with waterless hand cleaner followed by soap and water.
  • Children should not use this product without adult supervision.

PROCESSING RECOMMENDATIONS

  • GENERAL PREPARATION: Do not allow the product to freeze as it will become unusable. Store and use at room temperature (23°C). Use as soon as possible due to limited shelf life. Colder temperatures slow working/cure time; warmer temperatures reduce it.
  • Wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink, or smoke in the work area. Keep the container closed when not in use.

POURING, CURING & PERFORMANCE

  • MIXING AND CURING: Stir before use. The product can coat/dip almost anything but is not removable from fibrous materials. Avoid getting it on fabrics unless intended, as it adheres firmly. For non-porous items, peel the latex away carefully.
  • USING THE CURED LATEX: Lightly dust the cured latex with talc to prevent sticking. Avoid exposure to oils, greases, or solvents. Store castings out of direct sunlight.
  • CLEAN UP: Clean wet and dry latex with soap and water.
  • OPTIONAL - COLORING & STIFFENING: Use Fabtone™ latex colorants to dye the latex in its liquid state. HX-Stiffener™ can make the rubber less flexible.
