Description

Sonite® Wax is a reliable surface sealer and release agent. It forms a thin, durable barrier that prevents adhesion between mold materials and casting surfaces. It is easy to apply and provides a smooth finish, ensuring that molds and castings are free from imperfections.

The wax can be used alone or in combination with other release agents like Ease Release® 200 for added protection and easier demolding.

Once buffed, it leaves a polished, non-stick finish that enhances surface detail and finish quality in every mold.

Regular application helps extend the life of molds while maintaining consistent surface quality over repeated casting cycles.

Features

  • Withstands high temperatures
  • Compatible with silicone, urethane, and epoxy
  • Non-toxic and safe for industrial and hobbyist use

Technical Properties

  • Melting point, viscosity, and hardness optimized for mold making and casting
  • Available in blocks, pellets, and pastes

Use Cases

Ideal for creating molds for casting metals, plastics, and resins, as well as prototyping and model making. Its ease of use and reliable performance make it a popular choice among professionals and hobbyists.
