Description
This non-toxic skin conditioner is designed to help release mold rubber from skin surfaces, whether hair-covered or not. It is certified skin-safe by an independent laboratory, carrying the OECD TG 439 certification, and involves no animal testing. The cream is easily washable with soap and water.
Highly concentrated, only a small amount is needed for effective use. To apply, first wash the target body area with soap and water, ensuring it is thoroughly dry. Then, apply the cream liberally to all skin surfaces that will come into contact with the mold rubber. Pay particular attention to massaging the cream into and over any body hair to prevent mechanical locking.
Instructions
This non-toxic, skin-safe release agent is designed to prevent mechanical locking when using silicone mold rubber on skin surfaces with or without hair. The product is certified skin-safe by an independent laboratory and washes off easily with soap and water. Because it is highly concentrated, only a small amount is required.
Preparation
- Before application, wash the intended body area thoroughly with soap and water to remove oils, cosmetics, or residues.
- Dry the skin completely. For best results, trim body or facial hair as short as practical.
Application
- Apply the cream liberally to all skin surfaces—both bare skin and hair-covered areas—that will come into contact with mold rubber.
- Use your fingers to aggressively massage the cream into the skin and work it thoroughly through body hair, including eyebrows, eyelashes, facial hair, or other dense hair areas. Hair that is not fully coated may become encapsulated in the cured rubber and be difficult or uncomfortable to release.
Use During Lifecasting
- Ensure complete and even coverage before applying any silicone.
- Reapply release cream if necessary, especially in high-hair-density areas.
- The cream does not interfere with silicone curing when applied correctly.
Removal After Demolding
- After the mold is removed, wash the skin with soap and water to remove any remaining release cream.
- Makeup remover or light skin oil may also be used if needed.
